I had such a great time at the SoulSpace this weekend!

It was my first time on Mayne Island – and my first time actually having a
weekend off in probably over a month. I had such a great time catching up,
and discussing anti-oppression theory with Andrew, visiting the
grandparents , and hanging out. I hope to be back again soon!

I’ve attached some pics of the short trip!

April 23-26: Antlers, skygazing, stargazing, and s’mores. I got to spend a couple days with Diane and a couple days with David. -Andrew

Friday, March 27 – Monday, March 30th, 2015 – Alan & Diane Friday night, Bruce & Sue joined us Saturday morning for the Waugh Road ‘logging’ & beautification. We celebrated Sue’s 55th Birthday, buried the first automatic opener, planted hostas, hellebores, lily of the valley & astilbe, fixed the gazebo awning, had the first meal outside at the round table. Bruce made a delicious first pot roast.

Spring Break, March 16 – 20, 2015  Jeremy & Brady (& Diane) Bones from the beach, transplanting foxgloves, the Eagle’s Nest, Missile Launcher the Manx cat, baking cookies, reading, The Magical Garden, playing Uno,

March 13-15, 2015

Andrew had a great weekend on Mayne with Mom and Dad. Highlight was waking up floating in the trees after spending the night in my hammock. Also had fun moving rocks and judging branches.

Thursday, Feb 26 – Tuesday afternoon, Mar 3rd, 2015 – Diane, Friday night – Tuesday morning – Alan

Friday, Feb 27- Sunday afternoon, March 1st – Christopher & Lauren

Its Spring…the daffodils and red flowering current are blooming. The water purifier got swapped out and it is working! Alan got to use his new birthday present chainsaw. Lauren baked, cooked & read. Christopher & Diane gardened some more – planted the bush rose, Tanner (Andrew & Lau’s Christmas tree) on the berm.

Monday, February 16th, 2015 – Diane stayed another day to garden & work on the Soul Space guestbook (Sunday evening while Alan went back on the ferry). The highway guys replaced the culvert going to Jagers and Diane scooped lots of moss for the kitchen stone steps & patio and Don asked them for extra dirt for Diane to use in the garden. They delivered 2 scoops of really wet dirt. Planted ferns by the Bayview Gate, spread foxglove seeds and transplanted moss.
